Waulk Mill of Colinton /
Kate's Mill
This waulk mill was converted to a paper mill in 1653. It was remodelled in 1787 and was renamed Kate's Mill. 1832 it was owned by Alex Cowan and Son (who later relocated to the River Esk). There is now a private house on the mill site.
