Dr Wendy Ugolini read history at Newnham College, Cambridge and gained her doctorate at the Department of Celtic and Scottish Studies, University of Edinburgh in 2006. Her research interests are the Italian community in Scotland during World War Two, war and remembrance and personal testimonies. She sits on the executive committee of the Scottish Oral History Group and is a book reviewer for Immigrants and Minorities. Wendy is currently working for SAPPHIRE undertaking a project on authors and authorship.
